The basis of the SoundCam BIONIC acoustic camera models consists of central hub, with internal, battery, processors and touch screen
Any one of 4 different microphone arrays are magnetically attached to the hub. The size of the array determines the LOWEST frequency which can accurately be detected, when the live “Beamforming” algorithm is used.
XS array: source detection from 850Hz to 24kHz
S array: source detection from 400Hz to 24kHz
M array: source detection from 250Hz to 24kHz
L array: source detection from 150Hz to 24kHz
For the S, M and L arrays, a post_processing algorithm called SONAH can be used to extend the source detection range down to 40Hz.
